I hate Obama, why would I choose his insurance? Do I need to go through Obamacare?

Even if you hate Obama, understand that Obamacare is simply a nickname for the
Affordable Care Act Bill.

The Affordable Care Act bill is a bill that went into effect the start of 2014 that changed the laws of Health Insurance. When someone ask’s do I need to go through Obamacare they are generally referencing to Healthcare.gov. No you do not need to go through Healthcare.gov but every insurance plan that has been released since 2014 is technically “Obamacare”.
